Hire Equipment

We have a great selection of equipment available for hire.

Our hire fleet includes DIY disco packages with everything you need to DJ your own event. We also have Laser lights for hire, P.A. systems and Karaoke.

All of our equipment is fully pat tested. We will deliver, set up and demonstrate how to use the equipment and collect the next day by one of our team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q 1. How long is the normal hire period?

A 1. The normal hire period is 24 hours, if your hire is at the weekend, and equipment allowing, we can extend this so that you can collect, or have delivered on Thursday or Friday, and return, or have collected on Monday for an additional cost of 20% of the one day's hire charge.

Q 2. Can I hire for longer than the normal hire period?

A 2. Yes, you can hire for any length of time although 24 hours is the minimum. Please call us for a quotation for longer hire periods.

Q 3. Can we collect the equipment from you, and will it fit into my car?

A 3. Yes you can collect the equipment from us if you wish, and we will be able to advise you at the time of booking whether the equipment you wish to hire will fit into your vehicle.

Q 4. Can you deliver and set up?

A 4. Yes, we can deliver and set up all your hired equipment provided you are within our delivery area. We can deliver your hired equipment in areas which are local to us. Alternatively, depending on how much you have spent on equipment an additional charge will apply which increases with distance. We will set up all the equipment (unless the economy delivery option is requested), and tape down any nessessary cables so that everything is safe and tidy. Our delivery teams pride themselves in a job well done.

Q 5. Can you deliver or collect on Sundays?

A 5. Yes, but a small additional charge of £20 will usually apply for this service.

Q 6. Can I return on Sundays?

A 6. Yes, it is usually possible to do this by prior arrangement.

Q 7. Is the hire equipment insured?

A 7. No, it is the responsibility of the hirer to take out insurance if they so wish, we will happily provide a full valuation on request.

Q 8. Do you have public liability insurance?

A 8. You will have to have your own insuance.

Q 9. Is your equipment PAT tested for electrical safety?

A 9. Yes, all our equipment is regularly PAT tested for electrical safety. We do this for two reasons, firstly because we believe that it is vitally important that you recieve equipment that is completely safe to use, and secondly because it ensures that all our equipment is in the best possible condition at all times.

Q 10. Which areas do you cover?

A 10. We cover all of East Sussex, Kent and London via our own delivery vehicles. If you are out of our delivery area but would still like to hire you can arrange for your own courier to collect all your hired equipment and return it to us afterwards.

Q 11. Is VAT included in your prices?

A 11. No, VAT will be added at the current rate to the final total of your invoice.

Q 12. What forms of payment do you except?

A 12. We accept payment by cash, most major credit cards, although a charge of 3% is made on all credit card transactions & 4% on American Express card transactions, but debit cards and direct credits via BAC's into our bank account are charge free. We will also accept company cheques, although clearance may be required in some instances prior to the release of any hired equipment. We regret that we no longer accept personal cheques.

Q 13. Will I have to pay a security deposit?

A 13. A security deposit may be required in certain circumstances depending on the identification that is provided. The security deposit, if required is payable by debit card and the amount will vary depending on the equipment you choose to hire, please ask a member of the hire team for full details. The security deposit will be refunded to the same card upon the safe return of all the hired equipment.

Q 14. Do I need to pay a deposit in order to confirm a booking?

A 16. Yes. You will need to pay a deposit of around 20% of the total value of the hire in order confirm the booking. This is usually paid by debit/credit card over the telephone. Please be aware that your booking is not confirmed, and no equipment will have been reserved for you until the deposit has been paid, although we are usually able to hold a provisional booking for you for up to 24 hours. If you make a booking within 14 days of the commencement of the hire period, full payment will be required at the time of confirming the booking.
